I wonder how many years it has been tucked away in the back of the cupboard by the oven. Judging from the looks of it, I'd say several. Note that this in an 11 Piece German Style Knife Set (made in China). I also like the photo of a piece of raw meat with lettuce and lemon slices. Mmmmmm.......

An Easter Surprise!
I was working on unpacking boxes and putting away some of Jess' stuff tonight and came across this while delving into the back of one of my cupboards:

Snow Day!
I joked yesterday that I hoped class would be cancelled today because I wasn't prepared for my Jazz History quiz. While I was home studying for my quiz this morning I got an email:

It's supposed to keep snowing all day with accumulations up to 10 inches! And to think, last week it was 75 degrees here...

Found this interested video while browsing the web. I thought it was quite well done and now maybe I can make more sense of all the new stories on the radio!

Obligatory Update
Jess and I are getting started on a new website so inevitably there will be a link back to this blog that I rarely update. As a result I am writing this obligatory post so there will be something fairly current if someone happens to reach this blog from our new page.
If you are are looking for news about our wedding, it is possible that there is some info on Jess' blog, which gets updated much more regularly than this one.
And since I am here posting, I might as well share a photo with you, so:

I took this last summer in my parent's backyard. This is the remains of their birdbath that was crushed by the bear that climbed on it to get to the hanging bird feeders! You can see more of my photography at sethahnert.photoshop.com.
